About the Facility

Built for
Pharmaceutical Precision

JoziGrow operates a fully enclosed, controlled-environment indoor cultivation facility in Marble Hall, Limpopo — one of South Africa's premier agricultural regions. Designed from the ground up for medicinal cannabis production, every aspect of the facility is engineered to deliver consistency, traceability, and compliance with SAHPRA's stringent requirements for Schedule 6 substances.

Each grow room is independently climate-controlled, allowing precise management of temperature, humidity, CO₂ concentration, and light cycles across multiple concurrent cultivation batches. This separation of grow environments enables strain-specific optimisation, prevents cross-contamination, and ensures that each batch meets the quality benchmarks our buyers require.

How We Operate

Cultivation Principles

Controlled Environment

Every grow room is independently managed for temperature, relative humidity, CO₂ enrichment, and photoperiod control. Automated monitoring systems log environmental data continuously, enabling real-time adjustments and full retrospective traceability for each batch.

cGACP Compliance

JoziGrow follows current Good Agricultural and Collection Practices (cGACP) for medicinal cannabis. Our SOPs govern every stage from germination through to post-harvest processing, ensuring that each batch meets the phytochemical consistency and safety standards required by international pharmaceutical buyers.

Craft-Scale Production

JoziGrow deliberately operates at craft scale, prioritising quality and consistency over volume. Smaller, attentive batches allow for hands-on cultivation management, strain-specific nutrient programmes, and meticulous pre-harvest and post-harvest handling — qualities that distinguish pharmaceutical-grade flower from commodity production.

Independent Testing

All batches are submitted for third-party analysis by SANAS-accredited laboratories — Ecogreen Analytics — covering cannabinoid profile, terpene analysis, heavy metals, pesticide residues, mycotoxins and microbial counts. COA documentation is provided to registered buyers for every shipment.

Strain Development

Beyond sourcing established genetics, JoziGrow invests in in-house breeding and phenotype selection. Our Cape Ruby cultivar — a proprietary Strawberry Guava × Dirty Banana cross — represents the first of a pipeline of South African originals bred specifically for the international medicinal market.

Chain of Custody

Strict chain-of-custody documentation tracks all cannabis material from seed to shipment. Every transfer, processing step, and storage event is recorded in compliance with SAHPRA requirements, ensuring full traceability and supporting the due-diligence requirements of international import authorities.

Regulatory Standing

Fully Licensed

JoziGrow holds an active SAHPRA Medicinal Cannabis Licence (No. 0000000046MC-v1), authorising the cultivation and supply of medicinal cannabis flower to approved domestic and international buyers. Our licence is subject to periodic SAHPRA site inspections and reviews.

All international shipments comply with UN Convention on Narcotic Drugs requirements, and are supported by SAHPRA export permits, phytosanitary certification, and country-specific import authorisations as required.
